2015年3月、サンパウロにあるUniversity of CampinasのLaboratory of Automation and Prototyping forArchitecture and Construction（LAPAC）が、FAPESP（サンパウロ研究ファンド）の支援で行う現代建築の研究プロジェクト、Contemporary Architecture and Automation, Practice and Reflectionの一環でドイツ人建築家Peter Mehrntensの訪問を受けます。
Mehrtens氏は3月23日（月）、School of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urban Design - FECで学生と地域住民を対象に公開講座（Application of digital forming processes in contemporary architecture）を行います。また同じ週、ワークショップ（Introduction to parametric modeling and scripting of building envelopes for digital fabrication）の間も教える予定です。
Peter Mehrtensは建物外面をカスタマイズするFile to Factoryファブリケーションやコンピューテーショナルデザインのスペシャリストです。
